As you may have read, the official Microsoft support for Windows XP will ended at April 8th, 2014. This means the end of life for this 13 year old operating system which has fulfilled it’s purpose in the Windows “Arena”.
After this date no more updates will exist for this version, plugging possible security leaks.
So what can you do? Well protecting your data is always important and seeing as Microsoft will not provide any future updates or patches we strongly recommend customers seek install a newer version of Windows.
Note Windows 8.1 also exists but my personal preference is to stick with Windows 7 as it is far easier to use.
