How to use Woocommerce and Payfast to make sales via your Website

Previous posts we discussed how to design your website using Sitebuilder or WordPress Page Builder. Now to discuss how to to make your website ready to make sales by using WooCommerce and a free payment gateway called Payfast who updates their modules regularly.

So once your website looks professional and is ready to make sales you can integrate it so you can start adding items or services via your website and apply pricing to each item or service. It also allows you to receive payments via Payfast and your bank account where possible.

If using DIY Site-Pro Sitebuilder go to cpanel and open it up. Clock the Eccomerce icon at the top and select Payfast from the list of modules. Youy can then drag the “buy now” button it creates next to your product or service.

Right click the “buy now” button to insert your Payfast Merchant account details.

Re-publish your website and you good to go to make sales. How easy was that!

You need to have your WordPress site up and running and install the Woocommerce and Payfast module using the following links instructions:

Once done Woocommerce and Payfast will be integrated. As you receive orders and funds you can release the funds to your bank account by logging into the Payfast website.
